In mid-May, Cat Buckley joined the Gordon Electric Supply team as a new e-commerce customer service representative where she will connect with online customers, handling customer service inquiries and processing orders.
Longtime customer service representative, Margaret Lamb said, “Cat is truly proving to be a great addition to our team” and that she is impressed with “how quickly she has become a valuable asset.”
It is no surprise that Cat settled into the position with the experience she brings from previous roles in customer service and management. We look forward to seeing her growth in the months to come.

We are excited to announce the hiring of Rob Midvale as the new Returns & Procurement Coordinator at Gordon Electric Supply, where he will work with our purchasing and warehouse teams on updating inventory management accuracy, purchasing, and coordinating order returns.
Rob brings years of experience to his new role that will be a benefit to the company. He previously worked as a Production Scheduler and ISO Quality Coordinator. These positions enabled Rob to assist in the development of manufacturing processes to improve quality, materials procurement, and production repeatability.
Kim Boswell, Materials & Purchasing Manager, adds that “we are very excited to have Rob join us in the purchasing department. He’s enthusiastic with a positive attitude.”

Gordon Electric Supply recently hired Brad Robbins as an e-commerce customer service representative.
Brad brings both customer service and sales experience from years working in the retail industry. Previously, he was a business owner and worked in the music industry where he enjoyed traveling to multiple countries. In his free-time, he enjoys cooking and listening to music.
In his current position as an e-commerce representative, Brad’s responsibilities will include building relationships with online customers, processing orders, and handling customer service calls. We are excited to have Brad as part of the Gordon team and utilize his experience. “Everyone has been great and very welcoming from day one,” Brad said and added that it is a “great feeling to be a part of something bigger than one’s self–that you actually have an impact on the outcome.”

He brings several years of sales experience and familiarity with the installation of electrical products and lighting solutions.

Jim Perkovich has been hired by Gordon Electric Supply as the new senior inside account manager.
Jim, who is nicknamed Perk, has worked in the electrical distribution industry for the past 28 years—first as a driver then progressing to inventory management and inside sales. His previous sales positions offered the opportunity to work with some of the largest contractors in the Chicagoland area. He lives in Orland Park and is excited to work locally from the Mokena branch of Gordon. Jim “gladly steps in to help in any capacity,” Mokena branch manager Josh Corson said, adding that “it was the first time I have hired a new employee and received calls from customers saying things like ‘Perk is my guy.’”

Tony, a native of South Wilmington, brings ten years of sales experience to his role as an e-commerce representative. He earned an associate’s degree in cinematography from Columbia College in Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing from the University of Phoenix.
Tony’s responsibilities as an e-commerce representative include building relationships with online customers, processing orders, and handling customer service calls. “We are excited to have Tony join the Gordon sales team with his impressive experience and work ethic,” said Dan Korthauer, vice president of sales and marketing.
