Congratulations, Mary Fontaine!

Gordon Electric Supply is excited to announce the promotion of Mary Fontaine to Account Assistant. She began working at Gordon in December 2020 as an office assistant at our Kankakee location and had previously worked as a lab tech at various medical facilities and as an administrative assistant for a transit equipment company. Mary holds an associate degree in Paralegal Studies from KCC.

In her new role, Mary will focus on aiding the accounting department’s invoicing efforts. “Mary has proven herself to be a valuable part of our team,” says Kathy Rudin, Controller, “so we are thrilled to see her support the accounting department in this new capacity.”

Welcome, Ashley O’Connor!

Ashley O’Connor joined the accounting team at Gordon Electric Supply in Kankakee this April as an Accounts Payable Specialist. Ashley holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and brings years of experience in various roles to her current position.

In her role at Gordon, Ashley is in contact with our sales team and many of our vendors to make sure that invoices, purchase orders, and freight information are correct and are timely paid.

“We are excited for Ashley to join the accounting team,” says Kathy Rudin, Controller at Gordon, “Her years of experience will be a great asset.”
